About the Author

Isabel Thomas is a science writer based in Cambridge. She is the author of a galaxy of books for young audiences that have been translated into more than 20 languages. They include Moth and Fox illustrated by Daniel Egneus, which both won the AAAS/Subaru Prize for Excellence in Science Books. Her books have been shortlisted for the inaugural The Week Junior Book Awards, Deutsche Jugendliteraturpreis 2021, the Royal Society Young People's Book Prize, the Association for Science Education Book of the Year, the English 4-11 Picture Book Awards and the Blue Peter Book Awards.

Margarida Esteves is an illustrator based in London. She works digitally and likes to use bold and bright colours, lots of details and rich textures in her art. Some books she's illustrated include Tales of World War II (Neon Squid), How to Run a Museum (Magic Cat), The Story of Planet Earth (Arcturus), The Journey of the Winter Olympics (SinoMaps Press) and many more!
